The Child Safe Standards consist of 11 requirements that organisations must meet to create environments and cultures that promote the safety and wellbeing of children. These standards are designed to prevent, identify, respond to, and report child abuse by ensuring organisations implement effective policies, procedures, and practices that place children’s best interests at the centre of their operations. Developed in response to findings and recommendations from Royal Commissions and other inquiries, the standards aim to strengthen child safety and drive lasting cultural change within organisations that provide services, programs, or facilities for children.
At Holy Eucharist School, the care, safety, and wellbeing of children and all vulnerable people are central to everything we do. We are committed to fostering a child-safe culture where every child feels valued, respected, and protected. The Holy Eucharist Commitment to Child Safety and Reporting Process is displayed in the School Administration foyer, and all Child Safety policies and procedures are available on the school website (www.hestalbanssth.catholic.
