School Advisory Councils are a vital part of the governance and leadership of Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Melbourne. They provide an important forum for dialogue, consultation and active participation among parish and school communities.
The School Advisory Council plays a key role in promoting the spiritual and educational
wellbeing of students at Holy Eucharist School by supporting the Principal, who acts as the
delegated authority of the MACS Board, the governing body, and by supporting the Parish Priest
in his role as custodian of the mission.
Through thoughtful discussion, careful discernment and shared consensus, the School Advisory
Council ensures that its advice reflects who we are and faithfully upholds what we proclaim.
